Our Story

Our journey into peg loom weaving started as a search for relaxation amidst a busy life. Any fiber art that involves a lack of tension seemed like a great idea.

After seeing the first loom in action, it was time to create one. After considerable trial and error, which involved the wrong peg sizes, the wrong spacing, the wrong lumber, and many other foibles along the way......the looms as we know them evolved.

Originally crafted solely from reclaimed barn wood, we now also use beautiful live edge boards, all in built-to-last hardwoods. Because tools should not just be functional, they should be beautiful as well. A beautiful tool makes you feel good when you use it, inspires you when you need it, and centers you when life is off kilter.
