So, start weaving now and discover the endless adventures of this traditional technique.
Usually pronounced WHEN-gii or WHEN-ghay, this incredibly popular African hardwood has excellent strength and hardness properties, though it’s much more frequently used for its rich dark brown color, which can be dark enough to be used as a substitute for ebony in certain situations. This wood species has recently been added to some endanger watch lists, and will not return to our inventory until that changes. In the meantime, enjoy this intensely dark, dense lumber! We branded our logo into the board, but you’ll have to look closely to see it!
Our Goldilocks Peg Loom is an absolute beauty! Featuring three rows of pegs, it offers the ultimate flexibility for all your project needs. The first row is perfect for lighter weft such as yarn, the middle row (which is the standard size on The OG) is ideal for roving and locks, and the last row is designed for heavier weft like corespun.
Includes:
- pre-drilled loom in our distinctive shape
- pegs for every size hole, with 2 extra pegs
- sanding paper
- threading tool
- instruction sheet
Each board is unique and different. Photos are the exact loom you would receive if you purchase this listing. 2.066.35
This loom features our NEW pegs with eyelet screws in the bottom! This style of pegs will be ongoing with all looms in the foreseeable future. ** We WILL have a video posted soon about the new pegs, and how we use them!
As a final touch in creation, we add mineral oil to oil each board, which brings out all of the natural beauty hidden in the board. Check out our Loom Care Kits, found <here>.

Good to the last drop
We strive to use every piece of every board we get into our shop. This means not only do we sometimes have looms of non-standard sizing, but we also use the cut off pieces to create our tapestry looms, niddy noddys, and more.
