The Purple Heart OG Peg Loom Kit is made from a tropical wood known to turn purple when exposed to oxygen. The color will shift and change over the lift of the wood, making this a truly unique piece. Nothing wrong with using a beautiful tool to make beautiful things! These woods have stunning natural character and each board is very unique!
Our OG Peg Loom is an absolute beauty! The loom that started it all, the single row of pegs is ideal for roving and locks, as well as strips of fabric.
Includes:
- pre-drilled loom in our distinctive shape
- pegs for every size hole, with 2 extra pegs
- sanding paper
- threading tool
- instruction sheet
Each board is unique and different. This listing is for loom 24-250, and will be the exact loom you receive.
As a final touch in creation, we add mineral oil to oil each board, which brings out all of the natural beauty hidden in the board. If you ever feel the need to spruce up your board, mineral oil is an affordable and easily accessible option that works wonders! Linseed oil is a great substitute.
**Please note that purple heart is an incredibly dense, heavy wood, and will likely incur higher shipping rates due to weight. As per our policy, if there are overages charged on shipping, these will be returned to you in the form of a gift card included in your package.

Good to the last drop
We strive to use every piece of every board we get into our shop. This means not only do we sometimes have looms of non-standard sizing, but we also use the cut off pieces to create our tapestry looms, niddy noddys, and more.
