Something about recycled barn wood just makes me want to breathe in the history. There is a patina that can't be faked or recreated, only time will tell. Nothing wrong with using a beautiful tool to make beautiful things! Most of the reclaimed barnwood that we find in our region is white oak, though occasionally we find beauties in other species as well.
This loom features all three of our peg sizes in only 2 rows. A full row of our most versatile middle sized peg (the mama) and a half rows of the big peg (the papa) and the small peg (the baby). All the versatility you need in a narrower loom.
Includes:
- pre-drilled loom in our distinctive shape
- pegs for every size hole, with 2 extra pegs
- sanding paper
- threading tool
- instruction sheet
Each board is unique and different. Photos are the exact loom you would receive if you purchase this listing. 2.003.1
This loom features our NEW pegs with eyelet screws in the bottom! This style of pegs will be ongoing with all looms in the foreseeable future. ** We WILL have a video posted soon about the new pegs, and how we use them!
As a final touch in creation, we add mineral oil to oil each board, which brings out all of the natural beauty hidden in the board. Check out our Loom Care Kits, found <here>.

Good to the last drop
We strive to use every piece of every board we get into our shop. This means not only do we sometimes have looms of non-standard sizing, but we also use the cut off pieces to create our tapestry looms, niddy noddys, and more.
