Sleeping Mat Peg Loom

This loom is something special indeed. Designed with meticulous instructions as for sizing and specifications, this loom was created to weave sleeping mats for the homeless using "plarn" - plastic shopping bags cut into strips, and then woven on the loom. These mats create a waterproof layer for sleeping.

Available only in oak, this loom features the largest pegs we've ever worked with! This loom is the only loom remaining in our offering that offers pegs with holes drilled in them. The holes drilled in the pegs are oversized as well.

Kit includes:
- 31" loom cut to our signature shape
- a complete set of over large pegs, plus 2 extra
- sanding paper, because sometimes wood is splinty
- threading tool
- instructions

This listing features photographs of a recent version of this loom. Unlike most of our listings, this listing is NOT for the loom featured in the photographs. You will receive a beautiful loom in our favorite wood species, oak, dependent upon our inventory of lumber.

As always, our looms are finished with a coat of mineral oil, but no other treatment.
